Obnoxious Ads
I love the site, I hate some of the ads you run.
I understand that you need to monetize the free accounts, and I appreciate your service enough to deal with them. In fact, considering the site they have the potential to be strongly relevant to some of my interests. Unfortunately, you have some of the most aggravating side bar ads I've ever seen. One of them I would even classify as very dangerous to anyone who might have epileptic problems.
Overall, this is a bad deal for everyone. These ads are painfully obnoxious, irrelevant and make the page unusable while they are running. The only option is to turn on an ad-blocker for your site. If you just screened what you ran a bit your site could serve ads with remarkable success rates that might actually be useful to your user base.

Thank you for the feedback. We have agreements with ad providers and are not always aware of exactly what they are serving up, though they are suppose to abide by the conditions of our agreement. We have had to work with them to get certain ads removed in the past. Next time you see an ad you consider offensive could you grab a screen shot, or send us a detailed description so we can identify it and we'll see about getting those removed.
We do need to run ads for the free accounts to keep the bills paid at the moment, but if those ads cause an overtly negative experience for our users it's bad for everybody. Thanks for letting us know.

Thanks for the pic, that one is definitely obnoxious. I'm passing this on to the guys who coordinate our ads, and we'll see what we can do about it. Thanks for bringing it to our attention.
